Online content site Business Insider recently published a report asking how much revenue and value each tech heavyweight, likes of Google or Microsoft, generates per employee.
Some, like Apple and Softbank, keep a small number of employees but remain a cash cow.
Pessimists, Business Insider questioned, could view this as something negative and that these companies don’t require as many workers to generate massive revenue — and that their jobs can all be replaced easily.
But this is also to show us how productive a more tech-focused economy could be in general.
